The client wanted a calm, quiet place to run her business away from the family home. She also wanted a retreat or lounge area to relax and entertain friends with good WiFi, efficient heating and comfortable furniture.

The 4 by 3 metre cabin is finished externally with local Douglas Fir cladding which ages beautifully to a natural silver over time. The cabin is located in amongst the protected Elm trees in the garden so the client wanted plenty of glass to maximise the light and views. We fitted 2.5 metre black aluminium sliding doors and two identical 1.4 x 1 metre black aluminium windows to each side.

Inside, the cabin is finished with a natural OSB floor, painted Pitch Black. The ceiling is also OSB with traditional battens painted in Pointing. The walls are fitted with traditional tongue and groove panelling, painted in Hague Blue. The cabin has two BTC Hector interior wall lights and two BTC Oval Aluminium Bulkheads outside. All the electrical sockets and switches are Corsten Bronze with black inserts.
